Video Innovation Guidelines

  • The number of participants allowed are 6 members (MAXIMUM). Only ONE digital certificate will be given per project.
  • The video should be in English and the duration is limited to FIVE (5) minutes (MAXIMUM). The penalty will be imposed if the video exceeds the stipulated time.
  • The video presentation must be appropriate for general audiences or subject to rejection if the content is not suitable by the judging committee.
  • The video must be started with MJIC 2026 logo & introductory video on team members (photo & name).
  • Each video is required to include the related judging criteria:
    • Project title, Project Members & Institution
    • Introduction
    • Problem Statement
    • Objective(s)
    • Methodology
    • Results and Discussions
    • Novelty/Pattern/Copyright
    • Benefits & Contribution
    • Commercialization Potential/Values
    • Awards & Publications
    • Conclusion
  • The video must be uploaded to the participant’s YouTube channel and made public (viewable by anyone). Participants should promote their video to win the “Most Likeable Video Award”.
  • Participants that use the third-party software, targeted ads, or buying views (and likes) will not be tolerated, resulting in disqualification from ‘Special Award’.
  • By participating in the competition, participants grant the organizer the right to use portions of their submitted videos, as well as photographs and videos of the winners during the award ceremony, for promotional and publicity purposes without further notice or compensation.
  • The judges’ decision is final, and no appeals will be entertained.

Note: Participants may submit any innovation that fits any of these themes. Judges will assess submissions based on creativity, impact, and relevance.
