Video Innovation Guidelines

  • The number of participants allowed are 6 members (MAXIMUM). Only ONE digital certificate will be given per project.
  • The video should be in English and the duration is limited to FIVE (5) minutes (MAXIMUM). The penalty will be imposed if the video exceeds the stipulated time.
  • Each registration/payment allows only ONE (1) official video submission. Once a video has been submitted, no replacement, revision, or resubmission will be accepted. Any participant who submits more than one video under the same registration/payment may be subject to PENALTIES, including disqualification, at the discretion of the organizing committee.
  • The video presentation must be appropriate for general audiences or subject to rejection if the content is not suitable by the judging committee.
  • The video must be started with MJIC 2027 logo & introductory video on team members (photo & name).

Video Content Requirements

Each video submission must include the following sections:

  • Project Title, Project Members & Institution
  • Introduction
  • Problem Statement
  • Objective(s)
  • Methodology
  • Results & Discussion
  • Novelty & Intellectual Property (IP) (Highlight the originality and innovative features of the project. Include any Intellectual Property (IP) information, such as Patent, Copyright, Trademark, Industrial Design, or Utility Innovation, if applicable.)
  • Benefits & Contribution
  • Commercialization Potential / Future Development
  • Awards & Publications (if applicable)
  • Conclusion
  • The video must be uploaded to the participant's YouTube channel and made public (viewable by anyone). Participants are strongly encouraged to submit their videos as early as possible, as this provides more time to promote their videos, reach a wider audience, and increase their chances of winning the "Most Likeable Video Award".
  • Participants that use the third-party software, targeted ads, or buying views (and likes) will not be tolerated, resulting in disqualification from "Special Award".
  • By participating in the competition, participants grant the organizer the right to use portions of their submitted videos, as well as photographs and videos of the winners during the award ceremony, for promotional and publicity purposes without further notice or compensation.
  • The judges’ decision is final, and no appeals will be entertained.

Note: Participants may submit any innovation that fits any of these themes. Judges will assess submissions based on creativity, impact, and relevance.
